Founded on the ground floor of a town hall as a part of Jablonec nad Nisou municipality, Municipal and Regional Touristic Information Centre aims at promotion and development of tourism. Since 1 January 2009 it is a part of Cultural and Information Centre of Jablonec, o. p. s. Serving as destination management authority, TIC naturally coordinates regional information centres, operates an information centre, publishes books, prints, and also updates their information sources, promotes the town at different expositions, runs company web pages and participates at creating new touristic destinations (e. g. opening of technical or sacred monuments to the public).
