As the name of this event indicates, each autumn, the mayor of Jablonec nad Nisou surrenders rule over the town to musicians, dancers, conjurers and marketeers for one weekend. Gaiety and happiness sets in. The Lower Square is filled with stalls selling traditional artifacts, stalls with crafts, roasted piglets, beer and mead. Local as well as hosted artists perform here, shows, competitions and programmes for children are also prepared. The Festivities of Jablonec are usually held at the end of September.

Euroregion Tour is an annual fair of tourist trade which takes place in March in the Eurocentre of Jablonec. It is a milieu for the self-presentation of travel agencies and touristic regions. As a rule, exhibitions, discussions focusing on travel and various other events are likewise held here. During the entirety of the fair, an exhibition of cut glass and handmade wooden valuables and decorations is on display.
