Jablonec nad Nisou is an architecturally young city. Its greatest boom did not take place until the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. The city is home to unmistakable traces of the art nouveau, functionalist and neo-renaissance architectural styles. Its cultural wealth was and continues to be associated with the fragile beauty of glass products and custom jewellery.
