The Jablonec Toy Museum focuses on toys which our parents and grandparents used to play with. It will take them back to their childhood years, while children can find out what their mothers, fathers and grandparents played with. The displayed toys predominantly date from the period between 1940 and 1989, but there are also some older pieces.
The Toy Museum is located on the 1st floor of a residential building near the centre of Jablonec nad Nisou. The exhibits are located in four rooms with an area of approximately 90 m². The museum has a wide focus which means that both boys and girls will find toys to their liking. Boys are bound to enjoy the collections of model cars, construction sets or trains, while there is a large number of dolls or prams for girls. There is no wheelchair access, as the building does not have a lift.
