It is by no means only thanks to the legendary Jizera 50 skiing race that cross-country skiing is at home here in the Jizera Mountains. As such, nobody can be surprised that the cross-country skiing tracks start right in Jablonec and that our entire region is interwoven with a network of these tracks. Naturally, the region can offer all categories of terrain and all the tracks are excellently groomed. So, skol!
The Jizera Mountains Cross-Country Skiing Trail Arterial Network is one of the most visited and popular areas for cross-country skiing in the Czech Republic. During favourable weather, almost 200 km of trails are groomed throughout the entire Jizera Mountains. Thanks to the close cooperation with other trail operators, for example “Jizerky pro vás” or Bieg Piastów in Jakuszyce, Poland, skiers can also transition onto trails in the Giant Mountains or onto the groomed trails in Poland.
