A pleasant area for a walk above Jablonec (625 m above sea level). The lookout point consists of gneiss rock known locally as “Šnupštajn” (Schnuppstein) – the name is derived from the nickname for the owner of the property who liked to take snuff (in Czech “šňupání”). It is equipped with a metal ladder and it has a cast iron cross on top. Nearby, you will see an art nouveau water tank which was built in 1915, when significant water springs were discovered on the southern slope of the hill.
