This stone lookout tower on the top of the Maxov Ridge was built by the affluent members of the German Mountain Association from Janov nad Nisou in 1907. On clear days, it is not only possible to see all the way to the centre of the Jizera Mountains from Královka, but also to Black Mountain (Černá hora) in the Giant Mountains, Sněžné jámy or Žalý.
