It is possible to visit the Museum of Wooden Toy Production at the Detoa toy factory, which produces a wide range of popular wooden toys for children. During the tour, you will become acquainted with the entire production process which has a tradition of more than one hundred years. You will see historical machines, period toys and the factory’s contemporary face. The tour lasts approximately 50-60 minutes. At the end of the excursion, you can also purchase products from the company shop. Those who are interested in history can also view the exhibition on wartime production between 1939 and 1945, while those who love sport can visit the exhibition dedicated to Rudolf Burkert, the first Czechoslovak Winter Olympic medallist.
We recommend that you book your excursion in advance due to the significant interest. The tour takes place in production areas with increased dust levels and it is not suitable for children under 4 years of age.
Ticket prices and opening hours can be found here.
