The cliffs in the Kamenice River Valley are made of slate, they are often very brittle and the terrain is only used occasionally. There are, however, nice walls with relatively long passages of up to 80 m. The best way of walking through the entire area is along the red-marked Palacký Trail from Plavy to Železný Brod which leads through the beautiful forested and wild Kamenice Valley. The massive Wall above the Blue Stream rises directly opposite the ruins of Návarov Castle.

There is a detailed list of the cliffs on the Czech Mountaineering Association’s website. The website also sets out  the rules for climbing as they pertain to nature protection and all the available literature.
