The famous and now legendary Jizera 50 is by no means the only reason why cross-country skiing is at home here in the Jizera Mountains. Nobody should be surprised by the fact that the cross-country skiing trails begin right in Jablonec and that the entire region is interwoven with them. All categories of terrain and excellently groomed trails are a matter of course. The Jizera Mountains Arterial Cross-Country Skiing Trail Network is one of the most highly visited and popular areas for cross-country skiing in the Czech Republic. Thanks to close cooperation with other trail operators, for example “Jizerky pro vás” or Bieg Piastów in Jakuszyce, Poland, cross-country skiers can also smoothly transition to trails in the Giant Mountains or to groomed trails on the Polish side of the border.
